My time has come. I'll have questions as soon as this college search is done.

Same here. I hate all of this college crap I'm getting shoved down my throat. I know, college is important, but sheesh, leave me a lone for a day! Please!

Anyway, I know I'll have a few questions, but like Gomez, they'll be coming later.

Three things you need to fix anything in the universe: duct tape, WD-40, and a hammer. Duct tape if it moves and it shouldn't, WD-40 if it doesn't move and should, and the hammer as the last resort.

Oh, is it nice to have all those applications out of the way... :)

I just wanted to say thanks for being open to questions!

1. Where did you work?

2. If you apply in December and you get hired and something comes up, is it easy to back out?

3. Where did you stay?

4. Was it worth it financially?

Well start there for now. Thanks again!

1) see my signature

2) Most hiring is done in January. They can't force you to come, so if you end up not wanting to, just let them know.

3) Commons...air conditioning and culture there is well worth it.

4) Yeah, if you remember to save a little and not blow it all at the bars.

1. I knew most of Zone 1, and some in the other 3 Zones, but mainly Iron Dragon

2. Sure its easy to back out, as long as you give them plenty of notice, they can always find someone to replace you.

3. 1500 Commons........ah gotta miss Club Curb!

4. Basicly just stay away from the mall, or places that you are tempted to buy expensive things and you should be good.

Where is Commons located? On/Off point?

How did you like Iron Dragon?

How do you get assigned a ride?

Since working at the point is just like college with out learning, are people constantly getting drunk?

I am thinkin of working there this summer, but my summer is messed up this year. My summer starts July 1st and ends Oct 1st

I have a few questions

1. Would I still be able to get hired and trained that late in the season

2. Since I live 4 hrs away, would I still be able to get a dorm that late in the season

Thanks

1. Commons Dorms are located Off Point

2. Iron Dragon was alright, it was a nice fast paced environment, although many people asked to get transferd off the same day they got put there.

3. They assign your ride after your interview, and they sent u an agreement, you can also look online for your assignment.

4. Of course there are.

1. Of course you would, as the summer comes to a close people are always quitting or their contracts are ending. We always need people, especially as the season draws to a close.

2. Yes you would I belive the guidelines state that you must live at least 25 miles from Cedar Point in order to obtain housing. Near the end of the season however, Cedars is closed, so you are probably going to end up in off point housing. *** Edited 10/12/2006 12:13:02 AM UTC by Bootz3456*** *** Edited 10/12/2006 12:16:29 AM UTC by Bootz3456***

Thanks!! Got some more for you.

-How often are the ride nights, and how fun are they?

-On your day off can you just get the park and ride all the rides you want for free?

-Are there parking lots for your car? Do you need a permit? If so, how much do they cost?

Ride nights are once a week, weather-permitting.

On your time off, you will sleep. When you are not sleeping, you may use the park as often as you'd like.

Parking is available, with permit. All of this will be taken care of when you process in. Do not concern yourself with it now.

So what's the 5 things you liked about working at CP.

What's the 5 things you hated about working at CP.

Really all I have to say for this one is that its Cedar Point, and I liked everything about working there. The only thing that I hated was always being asked to go to Kiddy Kingdom, but everyone hates that place anyway.

I worked the Kiddy Kingdom Carousel for two hours one day. That was MORE than enough for me!

Somehow I always managed to get out of going to Kiddy Kingdom, but then it was always Matterhorn Triangle lol.

I have a question. Can you work just during halloweekends? If yes, then is it all three days or can it be one day of the three?

You can work just Halloweekends, however, you usually need to commit to at least 4 weekends (at least, you had to in the past)
