Ive got a question about the night show. I know about the dancers and lights. But are there going to be lasers like the old days?

In the video a question was brought up about lazers. Whoever that girl doing the presentation was, said there would be lazers.

So wait are there going to be lasers or a "lazer?"

I hope we get to shoot them at each other...

If we do get to shoot em at each other I hope they are 125mW lasers. Its no fun to play with lasers if they don't singe the flesh.

Can I get some sharks with lasers on their heads?

These are very exciting changes. Imagine how MF is going to look as you approach it without that huge screen blocking the first hill and final over bank. For some reason the distance from where the light show towers are now is where Millennium looks most massive. When you get up too close to a ride it becomes foreshortened and of course when too far away it's size appears diminished. Also the train station is a pleasant visual drawing you closer. I hope Millennium gets a blue LED strip running within the track and LED hoops in the tunnels would be cool too. I'm looking forward to see the park this year.

Speaking of which, does anyone have any insight into the new lighting packages? Or do we just have to wait and see...

I know it will be LED. I'd probly assume the Giant Wheels package will be very similar to WindSeeker.

Anyone notice the new pic on CP's Facebook? Its a lot of lights, but I notice an exit sign near the bottom.

I can't wait to see the all new lighting packages on Power Tower, Millennium, and Giant Wheel! It's gonna be great. I'm more excited for this season than I was about last season for Windseeker [unlike most, I was excited for Windseeker :)]

The number one thing I was kind of hoping they would bring back from 2010, was the Fire Water effect they had on Hot Summer Lights! That just blew me away, but I'm crazy excited to see how Luminosity is gonna turn out.

If they can get MF & PT to look like they did before, that would be great. They looked awesome when they were new! As for Giant Wheel, I will have to wait and see how it looks. I am against using new LED systems on such classic rides. I am always disgusted when seeing Blue Streak now. I really miss the classic tracer lights. I know many others do as well. It's like putting neon lighting on an old Model T Ford!

I suspect you're going to be in the minority on that one.

I prefer the old tracer lights. The warm glow of incandescent might be inefficient but they felt more classic nonetheless. But to each their own.

There is something to be said about the nostalgia feel that older bulbs could bring, but when it comes to the giant wheel, i say light it up and turn it into a spectacle like Windseeker.

I wish they would get the lighting back on the lift hill of Magnum. It looked like some sort of laser battle was going on to me.
