Ball coaster? nope. Top Thrill extension/re-fitting.. nope.

The difference between the different types of Intamin track are just how much support is needed. The double spine (square) doesn't need very much support, that's why they use it on MF's lift hill, TTD's tower, and obviously WT's spikes. Also the double spine has the most room inside to put launch tracks and lift cables. The single spine (triangle) is always used in low hills and turns. You'll also see no spine (flat) which is usually used on brakes and if you've ever seen pictures of one of the Superman's you'll notice the entire ride is done in track with no spine. The support must be very close together to use that.

I'm guessing the steel cost has something to do with the choice in which what type is used.

I think they only brought 3 rail track in to mess with everyone when in reality they're going to weld and reform that track into 4 rail box track at a later date. If everyone wasn't sure they are planning to build a "14 looping, backwards rolling, racing, intamin/b&m dueling, spinning, flying, 500ft tall water mouse roller coaster." That was quoted so i didn't mess it up.

But the kick in the pants is that it's really going in at GL and they again brought it to CP just to screw with you guys even more.

As far as the footers they're putting in, those are also going to be dug up and moved to Hershey Park in preparation for a kiddy ride.

Just a thought. *** Edited 5/13/2006 11:00:14 AM UTC by Loopy***

UHM, even MF uses some triangular track.

Expedition Everest was one of the best rides I've ever been on. The coaster itself, with the mountain and the track switch that goes backwards was amazing.

It's a really nice coaster. I had the pleasure of sitting in the front seat and I noticed that the track doesn't change like Kingda Ka. The track actually rolls over to the new section where you go forward again. It's pretty cool.

Last I checked 2+2=4, not necessarily "4D."

Okay, I've figured it out. We're putting "two" and "two" together, right?

T = 20, W = 23, O = 15.

So, TWO = 58, therefore "two and two" = 116.

See? Uh-huh, I know, I know - I'm a genius.

As you should be able to tell, I am being sarcastic. But this is no more or less ridiculous than anything else I've heard that involves this phrase leading to a 4D.

Brandon

2+2? hmm, track + footers = coaster!

What about supports??

This is a brand new rides that has absolutely no supports!

We'll miss you MrScott and Pete

Your all wrong. I think putting two and two together is simply a clever way of using a cliche to 'asplode everyons brain on Pointbuzz. It's generally means to put this obvious thing, and this obvious thing together. Those things are probably so obvious they'll be overlooked. (by most)

C'mon you guys. There not trying to write thier own "Da Vinci Code" here.

Summer was made for a Cedar Point day~

Haven't dazzled anyone in a while with my brilliant insight but here it is.. The whole new direction thing tells me that no records will be broken this time. Could be way off base but thats my take. Not that the CP gods need any advice, but if I were to offer some and they wanted a piece, I'd simply say.. Don't fix what isn't broken! Another words.. Keep breaking records! Does that make any sense at all ??

I was super before Superstew was cool! Get Some!!

In trying to break the DaKinzel code, "Let's get ready for some sidewinding." = Traincar seats on the side of track.

DaKinzel Code :)

You have to bring your black lights up to the signs and they'll have more clues. CP really went out of there way. ;)
