Chickie's and Pete's has shut down the bathrooms!

Plus think free food in mass quantities, quality can drop some unfortunately. See KI for Chicken Shack, it was mediocre for Media Day, very very greasy and meh. Had it the other day freshly breaded & fried with their actual fries, big difference.

Give it a second go you may like it, ya never know.

Oh man, I had Chicken Shack over opening weekend, and it was a huge difference from media day. I thought it was pretty good on media day (then again, we got there first in line so it was still somewhat fresh), but what a difference when it's normal operation.

Same thing can be said for Chickie's and Pete's crab fries. They were decent on media day, but I had some on Sunday and they were hot, fresh, and awesome.

I spoke to Josh at Chickie and Pete's on Sunday evening and he said the bathrooms were supposed to open at a future date, but he was skeptical that they would open at all...

I can assure you that the park has heard many gripes and received multiple emails on this issue with some replies back. Alot of us noticed this on Opening Day. I'm confident this situation will be remedied in the future.

I had CHickie and Pete's a few times already this season, and have had mixed results. Media day was pretty good - the pizza and boneless wings were good, and crabfries were awesome. Went back the following weekend, and ordered a philly cheesesteak, only to find out a few minutes later that they were out of the buns for that. Ordered a burger instead, which was decent. Went back again a couple weekends later, and ordered lobster philly cheesesteak, which was terrible. The lobster part of it was totally overcooked and gross. The service has also been mediocre every time, but the last time it was out and out bad. I don't know if the kid was inexperienced, or just bad, but it was awful. I will probably go back, because I did enjoy most of the food items I have had there, but I can understand how others might not.

Restaurant's restrooms were still closed.

The dinner started out fine. Gave our drink order and everything seemed normal. Our waitress, although friendly, had some difficulty with our questions about the menu. She did go back to the kitchen to get an answer. We continued with a few more simple questions, but the answers never fit the question. For example, when asked if the hamburgers came with any sides, she described the bun. You must ask for silverware and napkins--restaurant policy. Entrees are brought out one at a time (ok). The manager did come out and ask us if everything was ok. My "sandwich" btw, needed a fork and knife to eat (chicken parm.) It was more like an open face sandwich. I would not like to have tomato sauce on my clothes if I tried to pick it up with my hands. Don't look for any crab meat here. Crabby just refers to their seasoning which didn't seem to make it on the fries. It is a comfortable place to sit down. Better for drinking I think than eating. You might try do a search on this franchise. I'm surprised CP would have them in their park. Turns out that there were no sides--not a chip!

That's a glowing endorsement.

If you have to ask for silverware and napkins, what, exactly, is on the table when you sit down?

How can a restaurant not give you napkins or tableware unless requested? That's just bizarre, I mean they serve people, not zoo animals.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Especially with their sandwiches, as was already stated they are more like open faced sandwiches with how much filling is in them. I tried to eat it without silverware at first but failed miserably! I do not give much credit to Chickie's and Pete's but their portion sizes are indeed huge.

So has the manager of that location been fired for totally dropping the ball yet?

I think I'm just going to buy some Old Bay seasoning at the grocery store.

Isn't there already a thread about C&P's bathrooms?
