CP&LE Railroad Possibilites for Improvements

You do know that Iron Horse is the official name of the RMC conversions, right?

I didn't expect to hear it from an actor.

Bar cars work fine on other railroads, don't see why it wouldn't work on the CP&LE RR.

It works well on multiple hour train rides, but this is a short loop around the park. Currently, you can re-ride CP&LE unlimited times. If that policy remains with a bar car, it may get to the point where new customers won't get a chance to board if it fills to capacity. Will rest rooms be added to the train cars too?

Perhaps a cruise liner would be of better use, capitalize in the water. Two hour trips. Eats, drinks, cigars.

Well, when the people in the bar car need to get off to use the rest room, space will open up. While the chance of CP doing this is probably as close to zero as you can get, I doubt they would care how many different people experience it as long as the drinks are flowing.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Yes the chances are zero of CP doing it, but at $10 a beer I doubt anyone is going to spend all day on the train.

Knotts in the past has offered up charge dinner trains. They use the business car "Durango" at the end of the train and serve a full Chicken Dinner Restaurant meal as the train made several runs in he course of two hours as I recall. They did a couple during the off season when the park would close at an earlier hour, and you finished your meal after the park closed, without stopping at the station. It was a surreal experience with only the worklights on in the park. These dinners were always a sell out.

So yes, there are people that would ride the train for a full meal service over the course of several hours.

I'd rather just bring my cooler on the train if the park allowed it.
