I'm coming from Michigan too! Grand Haven baby!

Your friend's child would have to stay with his mom I think. I highly doubt CP has daycare.

And as far as I know, TVs are allowed but idk if cable is provided. I know the rec center has it along with internet.

Sorry I can't answer the rest of your questions.

Thanks

If you search this site you will find the answers to all of your questions. All of your questions have been asked and answered before on here.

Regarding your friend - no, one absolutely cannot bring a child with them if they are living in Cedar Point housing. There is no daycare provided, mostly because the great majority of employees are teenagers and young adults in their early to mid 20's and I would guess that almost none of them have children. You would not be allowed to have a child living in the housing, anyway.

Is your friend REALLY going to leave her child behind to go and work at Cedar Point for the summer? Really? I sincerely hope not...

1. What is the best housing and how much?
Commons dorms, they are like 5.71 per day
2. What are some things you can and cant bring into the dorms?
Can:
Microwave-700 watt or less,
small refrigerator: 3.5 Cubic feet or less.
can't:
Coffee pot.
hot pot,
basically if it generates heat it is not allowed.
3. Has any one work in housekeeping before of so what can i expect and how many hours are normal?
Sorry, I don't know.
4. My friend has an child and want to know do cp offer daycare of some kind and if not she would leave her child home with her mom?
No day care.
5. I was told they have bus trips how much do that coast and whe.n do they start letting people know where there going?
The trips cost anywhere between 20 and 100 and they will put up flyers by wardrobe and in the employee store and cafeteria
6. Im coming from detroit, mi who else is coming from michigan?
I'm from Wayne! :)
7. Should i drive my car or not because i heard they have buses where do the buses take you and how much is it?
I would suggest taking your car so you don't have to rely on the bus, it fills up fast, especially in the morning, and the bus only comes once every 15 min to a half hour. But if you do not bring a car the employee bus is free and it does take you to the park and downtown.
8. How many ppl is it to one room?
3-4 people,
9. If you stay in the dorm can you bring a small tv? And is there cable?
Yes, you can bring a small tv and there is basic cable!
Hope this helps.

Thank you for my friend question about daycare that really helps... And to answer your questions her mom stays 30 mins away from cp so technically i guess no she would not be leaving her child because its rite there

Lala, just make sure your friend knows what she is signing up for. It's very normal for Cedar Point employees to have anywhere from 50-80 hours a week! I'm sure between long hours and tending to her child will get very exhausting really quick!
