louie's 2005

Every year around this time the topic of louie's seems to come up. So I'm starting it this time. Cheap beer, picnic tables, broken test tube shot glasses on the ground, one of the worst bathrooms I've ever seen(the Dutch has the worst), and the music that makes you remember, ' I LOVE THIS BAR .' Just wondering if anyone would share the best/worst louie's moments of 2004.

I really don't have many other than trying to walk home over that bridge on a windy rainy night early in the season. I fell down the stairs and cut myself up pretty good. Thank god the CPPD didn't see it! Everyone just laughed at me. As a blue tag, I also enjoyed the moaning and groaning on Monday and Friday mornings. It seemed to be the only time anyone (including internationals) wanted to go home early.

at the Christmas party I passed out in someone's backyard on the way there...i "wasnt feeling good" and i stumbled my way to a picnic table in someones backyard, did my stuff and i was out. i was passed out for a good half-hour. Luckily friends kept calling me to try and find out where i was...(Thanks Hoy and Amanda!) I finally got sick of them calling so i tried walking back to the hotel and they picked me up and drove me back.

All i can say was that was a very "interesting" night.

"I'd rather be a PUSSY than a DRAGON!"

Wow. I have so many Louies memories...Hmm definently will never forget Halloween( well, what I remember of it anyways). Xmas in July was a a blast. (won a shirt!)....trying to hide from Gino. What else, ohh my roomies, b-day and I accidently got stamped over age..that was great.

I love that bar!

man i had great memories from louie's in 04. my best one had to be my 1st time going there with my boy's and we didn't know where it was and we were walking every where trying to find it and we finally did and we got there at 11pm which was too early and we had an great time that night i know i did because of the hype music and plenty of females to dance with and how crowded it get's and how how you get on the dance floor.and i hope for more great memories this year.

Man. I went to Louies twice last year and after reading all this...I regret it LOL! You'll definately be seeing me there a lot this year LOL!

louie's is the place to be and be seen. and it's fun every time you go.

I know new rookie employees are reading this so this warning is for them. Yes Louies is a good time, and yes you only have to be 18 to get in. Everyone does go there and to work at CP and not experience it is just wrong! But it's also the easiest way to lose your job. I lost 3 roommates last year just because of drunken stupidity. And that's before you go to sleep. Then you have to wake up for work. The points system is something else you don't want to deal with.

If your new to the bar scene and underage watch out, take it slow! Know your limits. There is no worse call to make than calling your parents to pay a fine at the Sandusky police department (normally around $100) and to help you pack your stuff because you got fired (what can happen when you go try to get back your CP ID from your silver tag). And it all happens in four hours!

If you are currently in college, ignore this, you most likely have already trained yourself! It's gonna be an awesome summer. Knowing my luck I should take my own advice but I'm too old! I like to live dangerously.

Hey you know I wil be at Louie's, it's home away from home for me. It is so much fun...the memories...hmmmm let me see...I don't remember a lot. It's just a great time and a great place to hang out...."I Love this Bar!"

k im starting may 2 and i wanna know where louies is at.

Well, the night of May 2nd.. you'll be there.

Who DOESN'T end up at Louies after processing in?

Where's it at? "Over the bridge, and through the woods... to Louie's Bar we go."

Just be sure to get there at bar-thirty.

its funny hearing everyone talk about this place, from an ole cp'er, i worked at cp when louies expanded to having a dance floor and the outside patio. do they still have 25 cent beers on thursdays? what great times

louie's is a great little bar like in a little town.
you know and work with everybody there.
and if you are not to drunk you will have lots of memories or you could just have a camera and take drunken pic that you were still to drunk to remember

"Save A Horse, Ride A Cowboy"

There was a place called "Bonnie and Clydes" my summer there. Who could forget the "Superbowl"? That place was just nasty though.

If you remember your best moment at Louie's you probably weren't there.

;-)

well since Im new I really dont have any memories of Louie's but I will after this season, Yall can count me in on that. I hear thats where everyone goes after work to throw some cold ones back and chill , it sounds great. I will prolly find my way over there after a couple days prolly not at first, is there anything I should be aware of ? I mean like what is the atmosphere of it. what are the best times to go ? Dont worry Im old enough , hell I might even celebrate my 23rd there if the times are good.

.:New To CP:.

You can go to Louie's anytime and still have fun. Evn on slow nights when locals come and they know no one in the bar except for each other and everyone just stares and talks about them. If not join them and make them buy you drinks. Well it works for me and my girls, i do not kow about you guys. Well either way you will have a blast. unless you slip and bust you bum going over the bridge

Yeah, taking a camera to Louie's is fun b/c you can get the best pics that way! Especially if you were too drunk to remember taking most of the pics, those are always the good ones. Some of mine are on here: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/clevelandgirl83/my_photos

Nice thread, sounds like a great place, this Louie's. But what a shame they don't serve underage ;)

I'm 19 and in my country the legal drinking age is 16! Imagine that... Anyway, the age to enter this place was 18 right?
