How do you explain the random caboose?

It's near a train station?

Edit: Added the quote for clarity... :)

^Its by the train track and fairly close to a station. How is that random?

Canoe is in water, with a western look to it, in a western-themed ride. How would that be weird/random?

That looks like it was imposed into the picture. When I was there last year there wasn't a fountain

There was, and likely still is, a fountain.

The fountain in the middle of the horseshoe roll was added in July I believe. They continued to add to the ride throughout the season.

I know this is off topic but what are the chances we get mist/fog back in the tunnel?

Let's Get Weird.

Probably someday at a random time. Just like how they randomly start fog in magnum's tunnel.

People do go crazy at amusement parks...esp. the young teens who just don't care about trash, being clean, games, food, etc. I see them do things all the time. In line for maverick people toss trash in the pond by the line all the time. When they're done eating those frozen smoothie things, they toss them into the pond.

So they should install two security cameras overlooking the line near the water, and CP Police can monitor it and bust'em.

While gross and disgusting, I think some litter in the pond every day is VERY far down on the list of preventable things in the park.

I hope the park enforces the smoking policy differently this year for starters, but that's a whole different topic.

Well they can only do so much. I mean when you enter the line, there are trash cans like every few feet, yet people are still lazy and will still stick their gum on the wall or throw their trash in there. I work in a grocery store and it sounds like the same people who will change their mind about something and put a cold item on a dry shelf where it can go bad. My question for some of you is how did the water turn Green? In my mind it doesn't seem like just beverages and food would turn it that color.

^No circulation in the water and hot humid days will do that to water. If they put a small fountain there instead of a little pump it wouldnt be bad.

To be honest, a half sunken canoe with a couple skeletons in it would look pretty cool for Halloweekends though.

That idea is golden. It would be easy to find an old canoe / row boat and have it half sunken with some ghostly figures in it. Put an underwater light to make it visible at night time....

They just need to not allow food / drinks in the line. It might make CP money, but it equates to a dirty Maverick pond. So if they got rid of that frozen smoothie stand and the drink / snack machines you could get rid of a lot of garbage in the Maverick pond.

Personally I usually get a something to eat and drink right before I get in line. There's no getting around waiting in line, so multi-tasking works well.

I might add that I use the garbage cans though.

While gross, I really don't think it's that big of an issue.

I used to be a sweep a long time ago...it amazed me even then where you could find trash from guests...now I think people have truly gotten less smart and more stupid...and I don't even think its a case of leaving brains at the gates anymore...I'm not overly intelligent by any means, but I at least remember to respect the park and try to keep it clean...I guess thats the sweep in me though...two seasons is enough to do that..

I don't think it's as much a matter of intelligence as it is respect, courtesy and common sense. Then again, why do they call it "common" sense when it's so infrequently used?

I agree. The pond is so cool, but I hate how people throw trash in it. They should add one or two trash cans along the que there. Or maybe add a sign about littering in the water.

^http://www.gallery.pointpixels.com/details.php?image_id=12251Is this not enough trash cans? Also there is many more cans not visible in the pic. So we know its the people's fault because there is plenty of trash cans around.

Edit: Forgot to put link in. (Duh)
