maXair Queue too short

From the pictures that Walt posted, the queue for maXair looks extremely short. Right now I am looking at the maXair webcam and the line is going out of the queue and around, I think they need to increase the size soon or else it will be a crowded mess in line.

Their premier ride. They won't let the queue get out of hand. I can guarentee that 100%. Why are you so worred anyway?

The line seems kinda long but if you look at the queue it seems like half of it is closed off which makes sense seeing how the parks not that busy.

I too am worried about the queue size.

Remember when MF opened 5 years ago, with a good size queue area? Sometimes the line stretched to Snake River Falls.

If they made the queue longer, imagine what you'll think in five years when the wait is 15 minutes. Think of how much space will be wasted just like at WT.

i have went to the park many times when the majority of wt space was used it might even be mores used now because of all the additions.

They could always remove some of the extra queue. I believe they removed a section of MF's queue a couple years ago.

MF was also the tallest and faster roller coaster on the planet at the time. As far as maXair is concerned, there happens to be a park about 3.75 hours southwest of CP called Paramount's Kings Island that has had a ride called Delerium for the past 2 years and lo and behold, it's the exact same ride.

People aren't going to be tripping over each other just to ride a Huss Giant Frisbee.

They finally learned from Magnum, Mean Streak, and Millennium Force.

They won't need much more than what's there now in 5 years. I was just at the park and nothing is "out of hand" at all.

Well the size of TTD's queue and Magnum's queue are relatively similar. When TTD's popularity lessens in a few years, won't they have the same wasted space problem as well?

Thunder Canyon '05

Not really because the line for TTD is in the middle of the ride. They can't build anything there.

Goodbye 2005 season!!!!

So is MF's but it's still wasted space.

Magnum's queue area could be cut down to free up some space for another new flat ride. Maybe not something major like maXair, but a another new flat for CP would be nice.

What? The queue barely takes up any space. There's no room for a ride there.

Who else is thinking, ROTOR?

That has no more footprint than a kiddle ride.

The new queue is far too short. The way it is set up, the queue looks to be built for a total 20 minute wait. If the lines were extending past the Krazy Kars on opening day, which IMO was a very slow day crowd wise, whats going to happen once the park gets busy?

I waited 30 minutes with a full queue on Sunday. Come July, that area is going to be a mess.

I agree it will be a mess of people come busy season but that is why they have the portable queues (like what MF had), they can take them down or put them up easily to accomodate guests.

Cedar Point, Americas rip- rockin', high flyin', sky defyin', record breakin' roller coast

Maybe they put a short queue in so that ride will never have insanely long wait times.
