Mean streak is not closing in July

The Hitler parody isn't necessarily "too much time." They have a generator online that lets you make them by just typing in the lines, though I don't know if this is from that generator.

On another note, there also exists a "Hitler reacts to Son of Beast being closed."

Hmmmmm....interesting. Remember when we were talking about this company earlier in this thread? Look at the comment on this Facebook post.

It was said it was not CP at the time but it could always be the fact they couldn't tell at the time. For some reason I keep thinking KD is what they were celebrating for but we will see.

CP Top 5- 1)MF 2) Maverick 3) Gatekeeper 4) Top Thrill Dragster 5) Raptor

Why would they have made a big deal about getting the KD project and not about the KI project? Because it apprears that they have the KI project as well. The only place where rumors are pointing to something 'bigger' than KI, something worth making a big deal about if being awarded the contract would be Cedar Point.

Unless KD is getting something big next year too. Aside from Hurler I haven't heard anything else.

Hurler is what I was refering to. Maybe they have a bigger part in it than Mystic Timbers. I don't know though because up until now I was thinking KI.

Seems like RMC had released their worksites by now last year.

Alan Schilke, in an earlier interview, mentioned that they had 4 projects for the 2017 season, so either they're starting later, or they've gotten more secretive with their hiring.

I heard a rumor that one of the 2017 projects is for Kennywood and CP is a 2018 project. No idea where it came from so I have no idea how credible it is.

I wonder which of Kennywood's classics would be RMC'ed. Unless it's a custom built.

^ None i would hope.

All the RMC reconstruction projects so far have been done on coasters made after the 70s. RMCing the Racer, Thunderbolt, or Jack Rabbit would be like replacing Magnum with B&M track and you dont do that to classic or famous coasters.

Kennywood seems to be proud of their classics, so I assume that it would be a custom built topper track coaster

Burritos, Inspiration Point, Fork Balloon Sports, Cards in the Spokes, Automatic Biographies, Kites, Kung Fu, Trophies, Banana Peels We've Slipped On and Egg Shells We've Tippy Toed Over

Agreed. I remain unconvinced that Mean Streak "needs" a makeover; I can't imagine that any of Kennywood's wonderful wood coasters would be improved an RMC makeover.

I'm a Marxist, of the Groucho sort.

Anyone still think it's closing in July? Probably not closing today. :p

Cedar Point + Kings Island = Heaven

There are definitely a vocal few that wish it was closing today (so RMC can get to work asap and make it the number one coaster in park/world/ever)

That's because none of the Kennywood rides suck like Mean Streak. :)

And imagine the reaction to "We are going to RMC Jack Rabbit." The local farm supply stores will wonder why they have a spike in the sales of pitch forks.

You can bet August Mueller would be first in line!

You just talked about yourself in the third person

Burritos, Inspiration Point, Fork Balloon Sports, Cards in the Spokes, Automatic Biographies, Kites, Kung Fu, Trophies, Banana Peels We've Slipped On and Egg Shells We've Tippy Toed Over

August Mueller is the birth name of John Miller, whom designed Kennywood's Jack Rabbit.
