you guys are forgetting about dragster !

dragster is NOT a hard ride to run. it's all about getting yourself into a routine and sticking with it as my TL said last year. It's not the easiest in the park (clearly) but it is not the hardest. the main control panel is terrifying to look at- AT FIRST but honestly, you hit one button unless your a leadership position. she's a biotch but she's fun to run when she wants to. best summer of my life hands down.

Agreed Kari!!

If you know what your doing at any coaster its not that hard, but it can easily be terrifying at first. For the most part you just need to concentrate on what your supposed to do at the position you are currently at. Once you get into your routine your pretty much set, just don't let anything distract you to terribly that you get an operational for missing a seat belt/lap bar/ or pushing the wrong button.

I was contracted to Dragster last year, but also worked Mantis and Millennium Force, oh and Corkscrew/Super Himalaya for one day (closing day :( ). Out of all those i would say Mantis is the toughest to work, but once you know where the "seats" are supposed to be located in relation to the guests riding its not that hard. But mantis controls on the other hand are terrifying at first, it took my a while to take my visuals to go into controls, but once i learned it i realized its not as hard as it seems. Its just a matter of learning what buttons you can push simultaneously and when you have to let the other hosts know when to wait because you can't reach the button.

Overall i would say no coaster is extremely hard to work, but every ride has its difficulties and where ever your put im sure you will find those difficulties and learn ways to get through them and love every day of your job, like me and Kari did at the 356 last year!

Just curious if anyone knew how hard it was to operate the Bluestreak when it had the manual brakes. I remember seeing these small girls lean their whole bodies into the wooden brake handles. It seems that those would have been a good workout.
