What's Going On ?

*Deep Breaths *.... Okay so I put in my application early april and here it is about to be may and no one has yet to review my app . I check it daily , actually several times a day and still nothing . Yet and still several people i know are putting in apps and getting reviews the same day , and packing up their bags and preparing to process in . It's really beginning to irritate me , especially knowing that these people have applied after or a few days prior than myself . It is actually becoming very stressful because i have a huge schedule and numerous events taking place around my expected process in date and if i'm not called or offered a job by a certain date then i am not going to be able to work here this summer . I just called HR and they said that managers are very busy right now and preparing for opening day , which is fine but have they been preparing 24 hours a day 7 days a week ? I'm sure someone out of all of the managers , at some point in the day has some down time and could take the time out to review applications . It's really beginning to piss me off . Someone really needs to call soon before I rip my freaking hair out . Can you say mind-boggling ? Gesh .

It depends...what were your top 3 choices of jobs? If you applied for a high employment job you are more likely to hear back. I applied for Admissions in early-mid February and heard back right away. If you applied in early April, that is kind of late to be applying, especially if you were applying for a position that was already pretty much filled. Even more so if that position is popular and your application was buried along with many others.

Cedar Point receives thousands of applications. Sorry to say this, but not everyone has their application reviewed or is hired.

Yeah you did apply late, but you have to play the waiting game. What position did you apply for? They hire throughout the season so stay optimistic.

1) Cook 2) Accommodations 3) Registration / Reservation Clerk .
