Chaos Came Close Today

I don't hate Jeff. I think he is entertaining and runs an awesome site.

It's all just little words on the screen. Don't get bent out of shape because of them.

As far as Chaos, the name is really appropos now. I would still ride it. That can happen to any ride.

If I haven't died on a travelling carnival ride, I doubt I'd die on a CP ride.

I'm sure the drive to CP is a lot more accident prone than actually being on one of CP's rides.

I do hope Chaos is going to stay, its one of the top flat rides in the park imo. Either Chaos should get its act together or it should be tought a lesson by Chance.

Oh well, I guess either way I am happy. If Cedar Point gets rid of the ride, then I am sure they will replace it with something just as fun. If they choose to keep the ride, then I am happy because it is a good flat ride and I enjoy it. Both ways it is (probably) a win win situation.

I'm sorry, but I have to agree with Jeff's viewpoint on this one...

If I pay the bills for a site, then it's my site and I can act however I gosh darn feel like acting. No one makes you visit a site.

Today 2 sets of the cars were missing. It looks like they took them out to get better accces to the center.

Last night as I was walking back to the resorts gate I noticed a truck/crane over by Chaos. I took a better look and noticed that the bed of this truck had a piece of Chaos's structure on it-one of those pink arms with the lights on it. They were obviously lifting this piece back onto the ride....but from what I've heard, it didn't sound like that was the part that fell out but it may have been something else that was broken. Does anybody know anything more?

I'd probably still ride Chaos...I don't think I could actually help myself if I saw it spinning and turning over there in the corner. To walk by Chaos would be extremely hard to do...but I'd probably be EXTREMELY nervous while riding!!!

Do you have any idea how irritating it is to see "::smile::" in every post you make?

Again a mountain is made out of a mole hill. Chaos didn't fall over, but people are making it sound like it landed on top of a group of nuns or something. Speculation sucks. ::irritate:: ;)

Back to the topic at hand, Chaos. I was there today (6/18), and they had signs up that Chaos would be closed today. I went back there around 2, and there were still people under it working on something. When I went back around 4, it was running. I didn't hesitate to jump into line and ride. There were still maintenence people everywhere watching the ride. The ride is just as it was before, fun.

Its nice to see Chaos up and running again. Im sure maintenence will keep a close eye on the ride for a week or so, just to make sure everything it working right again.
