This clip answears A LOT of questions!

Hmm... very interesting. The clip seems to make sense. I just hope that if CP does one of these, they will make a little more of it.

Magnum still rocks.

I think it'll have a launch and a lift... I also think those trains look stupid, why do the seats have to be so far apart when it's so pointless? It's not like there is machinery in the middle like 'X'

Very interesting find ....

Ben's right, it will launch...at some point in the ride.

The train design is kind of cool, I just hate lines that split off on two sides and when you split off in the line it just gets slower =(

I had to wait hours to ride X with 1 train op, it was horrible. *** Edited 6/7/2006 12:08:42 AM UTC by geewhzz***

Hold onto your spurs.

3. A spurlike attachment or projection, as:
5. A bony outgrowth or protuberance.
8. A spur track.

A splitting coaster?

These trains would not surprise me one bit. Although, the fins on the front (as seen in the animation) look a bit too Dragster-esque. I'd expect those to change... (*gasp* and even theme the trains a bit?)

A launch, also wouldn't surprise me. I doubt it'd be right out of the station, though.

The launch coasters are still the way of the future. Since TTD, more Intamin rocket coasters have been built each year than any other major coaster. It's been said many times that the hydraulic launch has been showing very few problems on all the smaller rockets around the world.

When I went on TTD this year, I noticed the launch system was having no problems. TTD's main issue is its overly complex mess of a blocking system.

These trains would definitely make the ride unique at Cedar Point, as it would offer a different ride experience that couldn't be found on any of the current coasters. They also may be capable of doing some unique moves, say a 180 degree inline twist while the train is moving on a 90 degree banked track section flipping the riders under the track to above the track, if you kind of can visualize that.

That feature is nothing new because X has it. Overall, I think these trains will be sweet only I wish they rotated because X is awesome. Nevertheless, these trains will be fun and it does make the ride much more exciting. For those who have ridden X, you know what I'm talking about.

Yes, Doctor Culex

I think somebody should compare this to X.

i think everybody should quit saying that they know for sure that this coaster is this and that, becuase they only people that know exactly what this ride is are the people at Cedar Point.

Now don't get me wrong i would love to have a coaster with those seats they look sweet, but unless your on the high end of the chain at CP don't say "yep thats what it is". Sorry just a lil pet peav of mine.

Uhm, nobody's said that here (At least on this page...) We've said they wouldn't surprise us, they'd make the ride unique, etc...

I feel the same way

I'm not counting on any video or anything else until an announcement.

After going to the park I think that they need some more family rides and coasters. After seeing their collection they are fine on the thrills but not everyone likes the biggest of everything. Don't get me wrong because I love thrill rides but I hope they get some nice actual family rides and a coaster. This concept looks fun and it could be good for the whole family as long as they don't go extreme. Also they need to get rid of MS. It's way to painful. If they could get a nice woodie like ThunderHead in there that would be awesome because TH is fun for the whole family. Well what ever they do next year I hope they get some more stuff for the family too. Also If they could put in an area like Nickalodeon zone at PKI this would really put this park as a world destination.

The only thing that I don't really like is the fact that it would require so much more clear space than a normal train would.... which makes me think it would take up more space and likely be another ride that just stands there, with out any trees or what not within the ride (if you understand whay I mean...).

The seats being located so far from center would add a great dynamic when it comes to rolls or quickturns from side to side. To say pointless could't be further from the truth!!
