Bon Aire section and other exterior changes to Hotel Breakers

The fire pits in the seventh rendering seem to be taking the place of the trees found in the third picture. Hopefully there will be a mix of each, and the rendering is excluding trees for clarity's sake. Without them, daytime loungers may find that beautiful area less inviting than the nighttime folks.

Today at WCO, I asked Jason McClure what was going on with Bon Air. He said they stopped demolition because of the construction schedule and the rest will be torn down when scheduled.

Thread the Needle!

They started taking down the rest of the building today.

Seems the delay was due to the crew mistaking the dried up pile of wood they were supposed to tear down with Meanstreak. That is understandable.

Bon Aire seems to only have one wall left. Good riddance!

I've been curious why there are always so many interior lights on in the evenings at the Breakers. Could the construction workers be living there?

Chris

lol, I doubt that.

More likely they have 3 shifts of construction crews working to make sure things are ready to open on schedule.

Is the original Breakers East pool area going to be reconfigured? This is the area that I'm referring to.

I haven't read anything specifically mentioning this pool and every rendering that I've seen has omitted this area. I've seen the rendering of the new kids pool that is positioned north-west of this pool, but nothing specifically showing this area.

If all the players are ready...at the sound of the bell, ROLL EM!

Hopefully will that space we will get future Soak City expansion with parking cause that is more than enough room!

Yikes! The Shining is the only Stephen King book that actually scared me.

Read IT... I look to that book (and movie) as the reason so many people are afraid of clowns.

Bon Aire is almost completely gone now. They are hauling the rubble away right now.

Shane Denmark -- tried to read IT. I just couldn't get into it, and finally gave up on it. Never finished Tommyknockers, either.

Looks like Bon Air is now no more. All the walls are down now. Just a pile of rubble.

Maybe it's being relocated.

I think it sank into the lake.
