Secret to not getting your legs killed on those hills is to only sit in the middle row of a car.

Don't sit over the wheels and you won't have as much trouble on those hills.

I'll try it! I mostly like to sit in front of every coaster but maybe i'll try it so I can ride that thing again haha

The front of the train is a lot more aggressive than the back. Sit in the 2nd to last row for the airtime to not kill you. You also can pull the seatbelt as hard as you can to prevent any sort of lapbar pain.

Thank you! I need ways to ride Magnum again because I love it but it was getting to painful.

^You gotta stop quoting the posts directly before your posts. It makes for some rerun reading.

And Magnum is great, as far as I'm concerned, in any seat.

I'll echo Cedar Point GCI: second to last row of Magnum is the best place to sit, hands down! In the three years I worked at the ride, its where all of our crews sat for test rides, and where I always sit whenever I get back to visit. Smooth with a wonderful whip over the first few hills and coming out of the pretzel. Perfection. I hope Cedar Point never gets rid of any of its Arrows. Maybe some new trains for Corkscrew and CCMR, but leave them alone otherwise!

So I wonder how long after the July 31 entry deadline these select few will get their early glimpse. How many are they selecting? How far in advance will they get to see before the official announcement? Pretty cool marketing stunt if you ask me. Hopefully the Sandusky Register doesn't get ahold of those animations and ruin Tony's fun ;)

@VWHoward.....sorry haha I am not sure why I even started doing that. Oh and by the way Go Tribe!

Corkscrew is terrible. I know its iconic and cool going over walking paths but very low ridership and a very rough ride to be honest. I mean could put a really sweet Zamperla in that spot. Arrow's OTS restraint sucks.

Go ahead and shoot me but while Gemini is alright and smooth, I wouldn't shed a tear if it got torn down. The straight sections are fine but it just meanders the turns.

^^ I agree. Gemini is a classic but what splendid real-estate for a new big Intamin coaster in 2020 ;) haha

What blows my mind is that if RMC MS is indeed over 200ft, that means CP will have six coasters over 200ft. That is downright insane.

Gotta love it!! I am so happy CP is my home park. I guess living in Columbus, Ohio CP and KI are both my home parks!

I also visit Carowinds and I tell you what. That's a nice park down there. If they could remove their crappy pre-cedar fair coasters and build new that would be great. They have a couple that are terribly rough.

Hmmmmm... 1870 (AM)... Reference to the year 1870? What happened then? Who went down in history that year? Scour away here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1870_in_the_United_States

Hmmmm... George "French Fries" Newsome, or Sally "Eagle-eyed" Weston and Tony "Calamity" Clark. Any good anagrams hidden in those?

:)

I don't know about any hidden meaning, but a "French Fry calamity" sounds delicious!

I'm letting our nine-year old write the letter. Pretty neat contest; Of course if she gets picked I told her I would go with her and I won't tell the wife a thing about what's to come...for 3 days. Ha.

Hmm, could a bathhouse be on the way for uber enthusiasts?

Seriously, I want a beer garden!

^^ Hey they might put one in. KI kinda has one....ehh?

How are they going to keep anyone from saying what they heard?

Good Lord, the comments about Magnum, Corkscrew, and Gemini are among the most blasphemous things ever transcribed on this forum.

And in response to thabto, I'd assume holding them prisoner there wouldn't be too difficult once they have them all in the park.

The most dangerous enemy is the one you don't know you have.

So the Sneak Peek contest closes on July 31...and the video mentions that the event itself will happen "just days before the public announcement." Do you think we could be looking at an announcement date sometime in mid-August?

I looked over the rules and it looks like all your going to see is a digital animation, which you can basically already see what it looks like from the park, so there really will be nothing new, except a virtual POV and they are holding your phones hostage while viewing.

I believe that it specifically says that the people are allowed to share what they saw "with any party" afterward.
