The next marketing term

Jeff's avatar
We can more or less credit Cedar Point with coining the terms "hypercoaster" and "gigacoaster." Anybody wanna take a stab at what they'll call this one? No prize involved, but if you're right you'll be the envy of CP Place.

Here's a hint... it's not a metric prefix, so don't even bother with "tera-."

Well, if it's not "tera" then I'm out of ideas. It will be interesting to see what they do end up using.

Thrill coaster?
Iconocoaster or Stratocoaster - refrence to layers in the atmosphere?

Supercoaster

L-TH-TW-B... "Meh"

My first guess would be ultracoaster just like coasterbob. But another one that comes to mind is epicoaster.

quadracoaster

Gravy!

Intensecoaster.

"If we go any faster, she'll blow apart for sure!"

Something that starts with an f (the first letters in decending order of height)? I doubt it. Anyway, we should find out this week.

**After reading Jeff's post again, I think that the height name may have something to do with the name or height of the actual coaster. He said that we would be the envy of CP Place. I don't know.**

ummmmmmmm HCTTIRBAC (an acronym for HolyCrapThisThingIsReallyBigACoaster) :)
How about Rocket Coaster or Dragster...

What is most anticipated event of 2003? the debut of # 16, the release of Metallica's new album, the release of Terminator 3, or the release of Matrix:Reloaded...tough call.

Rocketcoaster (done before)

Ultracoaster (one of the best guesses, IMO)

Dragster Coaster (or some variation of that)

XTreme Coaster (gotta love X words :( )

Seriously, dude, you should work for CP marketing! ;)

BTW, Jeff, why did CP get to name 300+ footers "giga" instead of SFMM getting to name generic 300 footers? (you know, because of Superman)
