The next marketing term

To me the best idea so far has to be Blast-Coaster. While you may not all love it, and may think it is too similiar to Volcano, it does work. Originally because of the unconventional layout (not your typical "hyper" with a lift and numerous airtime hills) my thought was that this would not be classified by its height per say, but by its launched style. Surely I was surprised to see Jeff make this post about the prefix because I just assumed they would stick with Rocket Coaster as the marketing term, yet if you look back at Jeff's original post, he actually doesn't mention the marketing term specifically has to do with height. So thats my guess, this will be Cedar Point's Blast-Coaster... And lets not forget, it was originally posted "blastocoaster".

As far as the actual name goes, you know my guess, and you've even seen my logo. :)

I'd Rather Be Riding Roller Coasters

Heres a couple:

1)Space Coaster

2)Skyline coaster (chilli not included)

3) Drop Coaster

4) Infini-Coaster

5) death coaster (To heck w/Banshee...just get to The Point!)

How about "PowerSurge"
ok he said one vowel was wrong so if you drop the a from my original guess you get Mech-Coaster. Maybe

Blue train always wins. . . . .Unless the red train cheats!

I still like aerocoaster but I don't know how else you would spell it.

Um, "Blast Coaster" has already been taken by Volcano at Paramount's Kings Dominion in Doswell, Virginia.

I think I go with tetracoaster

Hmmm, so would that be neon, cardinal, lemon, or black?

;)

(Anyone who gets that, raise your hands. Or hang your head in shame, your pick...)

I get it....I know I know, good for me, right?

On a more serious note, I think the name for this type of coaster will be a Freakcoaster, cause its so freakishly tall...maybe they could name it Yao Ming....

If you'd rather walk 10 miles than drive anything but a Ford, you're a moron...but you're probably in shape.

The ideas of changed vowel prefixes that I had were straticoaster, nitracoaster, and quadricoaster.
