maXair Reviews and Remarks

It is a 2 1/2 minute ride cycle. when i was there, they wanted to shave off some of the cycle time to get more people on per hour. I'm not sure if they are going to go ahead with that plan, but i think the ride cycle length is perfect. You get 3 constant swings. The most Cycles per hour we hit when i was there was 12.

I know the ride ops are trying their hardest to increase the capacity per hour. They have a good set of team leaders there and soon enough things will take off.

The things that slow the crew down the most is the "No loose articles" policy (glassed without straps and hats mainly).

Speaking of long ride cycles. We rode Monster this afternoon and almost fell asleep. Certainly it's a challenge to unload 3 and load 3 before the cycle, but we were literally in the orange tub for 15 minutes from beginning to end. Maybe I've never given much thought to it before, but it never seemed to take that long.

When I rode maXair, my water bottle flew clear all the way to Wicked Twister, it was kind of funny because all of the sudden I saw my water flying high into the sky, and it was going fast, good thing it was empty but I don't think it hit anyone.

And how did you get your water bottle on maXair? You do know that you're not allowed to take loose articles on the ride? You're lucky no one got hit with it.

2012 - Magnum XL 200 Crew

I hated it, it made me sick and dizzy. I could deal with it up to a certain angle but when I was almost totally upside down and spinning and looking down it really screwed with me. I said never again and I just can't do it.

If it was facing inwards like one I rode at a fair it would be easier for me because I could just watch the people across from me, lol.

Give me height and speed but no spinning upside down.

After finally getting to cp from july 18-22, I can say that I am very happy with maXair. This is now my fifth fav ride behind mf, ttd, wt, and raptor. I really love how fast and how smooth the ride feels. When you whip past the large supports, they almost appear as if they are going to hit you. I rode maXair 3 times during my 4 day stay. All i can say is, thanks cp for another awesome ride.

MONEY SEAT?

I refuse to grow old !

From what I gather, The "money" seat is one of the lower numbered seats, 1 to 10. I don't know why.

^Or the high numbered seats, 45-50.

My only complant is the long unloading process. CP or HUSS needs to get the thing to park and unload quicker. When you unload that rush that you have after the ride is deminished before you even step off.

Loading is a little long, but this isn't really hurting the ride as much. *** Edited 7/24/2005 7:36:03 PM UTC by Gomez***
