MI ADV

Hey Kara, I'll definately be at the enterance at 1:00 waiting. I'll be the chunky guy in a CP shirt (probably my coaster fanatic one) and a Magnum hat. The kid I'm going with will probably be wearing really baggy pants. That will be really great to be on your 1,000th train, even though tommorow I'll only be getting my first trips on ST. I can't wait!

Who finally met the infamous Magnum Dan!

I'm happy to let you know that she did it! 1,000 rides on ST. Kara, I enjoyed meeting you and riding with you on your amazing 1,000th lap. It was also nice to meet Old Cp'er, Ralph Wiggum, and all of the rest who made the time to share in Kara's accomplishment. A few of us bought the on ride photo (including me), so I'm sure it will be posted soon :)

Kara completed her landmark lap just over an hour ago. I'm home now and she is still at the park...working on getting to lap 1,100! Thanks for a fun afternoon!

Well, I just got back from going to Michigan's Adventure and Detroit yesterday, and Cedar Point today. Mi Adv. was a lot of fun, Shivering Timbers was better than I imagined it. I couldn't stop laughing I was having so much fun. What suprised me though was Zach's Zoomer. It was pretty impressive for it's class of coaster. It was much better than Beastie or Scooby Doo's Ghoster Coaster.

Hey Kara, I hit my 25th at the same time you hit your 50th. I was there too, and rode with you twice (if my memory serves). I had the black ST shirt! I got 50 laps total now, hoping to get more.

Today was my 5th time on CF Property (this season), I think I need to buy the parking pass when I buy my Season Pass for next year...

I got the picture as well...Kara and I in the front car, Mr. Scott and a co-worker of mine behind us. Had a great time, and took my 50th ride on Timbers just after Kara's 1000th.

They presented Kara with a free photo of her ride.

It was a fun day, although the sun only peeked out once. It was great meeting some more GTTP'ers (Ralph Wiggum and Mr. Scott).

And Kara...don't be too sad when you get your senior pictures taken on ST's track.

Additional notes: My parking pass didn't work there and neither did my friend's employee parking pass. A cup of water (not bottled or price marked) was a quarter.

Parking passes are only good at the park they were purchased for, so I'm not surprised your parking pass didn't work.

Congrats...

I was on the 600th train (I think it was you) at Timbers Fest.

Hey all. Yesterday was a GREAT day for me, and I thank everyone who showed...it was nice seeing some familiar faces, and meeting some new ones as well. Man, someones gotta scan that onride!

JJ and I were the last ones out of the park...even Camille walked by and said "go figure." I love it :). Only rode Timbers 33 times...but got to schmooze a ton. All of you pointers - our sups are headed there to work on weekends on the big rides...so give 'em a hard time for me :).

Ack, for real... Just HOW am I going to be all happy and stuff standing on/next to my coaster, but not riding? Man that'll be tough.

Anyway, was a great season and I can't wait for next year!

Since the onride photo hasn't been scanned yet (at least I have not seen it), I'll assume no one else has access to a scanner.

I do, at work. I'll scan it and and save it to disk.

Request it and it is yours (if no one else in the pic objects... :)

I have a scanner, but my son's PC crashed and died on Sunday, so he's been hogging mine. I'll be scanning the pic and putting it on my website. I can post it here if no one (jeff) objects.

I now have the pic available.

Hey everyone. I haven't had a chance to post since since I returned from MIA.

I really had a fun time. It was great meeting everyone and being on the train when Kara took her 1,000th lap. ST was a great ride with amazing air, even though Kara told me it wasn't running very fast that day. MIA is a small park, but I see it has a lot of room to expand, providing CF pumps a little money into it. I will definately try to go back at least once next summer.

Proud to be on the train when ST Kara took her 1,000 lap on Shivering Timbers.

There is SO much oppourtunity there! Throw a couple of Steelies around Timbers and you got a 1st Class park!

And room to expand for as far as the eye can see. :)

Finally kicked my son off my PC long enough to scan the on-ride photo of ST Chic (Kara) making her 1000th lap on Shivering Timbers.

Kara, just wondering...did you by chance go to CoasterMania this year and have somewhat of a "corn-row" haircut with CoasterBuzz shirt on?

Note the position of Kara's lapbar. Think she got some major air on that ride?

She did. I couldn't believe my eyes!
