MI ADV

Duh! They've been clearing land EVERYWHERE in that back corner for ages!

MiA - The next Cedar Point when they DO run out of room.

Oh yeah, nothing BIG next year if you catch my drift. Something about attendance....

That would be an interesting place for a campground.

A campground would be cool, but nothing compares to Pentwater!

MIA isnt big enough for a campground
You'd be surprised, Jonesy

I've been there many times and I think instead of "wasting" the room on a campground ( like Cedar Points) not that cedar points is a bad place to camp but MiA is a small park and the people that go to it are mostly local, also they could use that room to make MiA a great park, there are many camping options around MiA adventure. MiA is the second largest park in the Cedar Fair lineup next to Cedar Point, I cant believe that after last year they wouldn't add something new, at least a power tower or something. I would like to see a new steel coaster, the corkscrew there is pathetic, I think they should just take that ride out all together.
I was there in August. I noticed that there was a brand new miniature train in shrink-wrap behind the water park. It appeared to be exactly the same as the train that was running by ST. Do they have two trains running on the existing ride now...or are they expanding the ride...or adding a new ride...or just replacing the existing train?

They are going to expand the existing train at some point and add the other train.

You are likely to be disappointed, Jonesy.

Why would they add 6 Million in Improvments one year and do nothing the next? I maybe optimistic but I dont see why Cedar Fair would buy MiA and not expand, maybe this wii come in the future We cant always have what we want though
I never said they were going to do "nothing". I only said the improvements are not likely to be some big, thrilling ride. See my post above.

Oh my lordy! Thank you Rotunda_Chillin for bringing up the miniature train. I have a question for everyone. Who thought the train at Michigan's Adventure needs ALOT more? I thought it was very boring! There was nothing to look at, while riding. It kinda upset me! Did anyone else feel this way?

I thought that the train was quite boring...it basically did a circle at 5 miles per hour. It really does need expanding. I also dont think that MiA needs a campground. Why would they when they have Lake Schneppaho right next to the highway on an ugly lake...lol...jk. I think that they need a good steel hyper coaster.

Welcome to the Magnum XL-200, the coaster featured most on the Discovery Channel.

We need both. A big Stealie AND a campground that the train picks up passengers from.

That train ain't circlin' out the in the middle of the jungle for nothin'...SOMETHING is going out there. Hopefully, soon (as in 2003).

What do the people that has been to MiA think of corkscrew, I think that ride has see its day, it has the worst loading station I have ever seen, it need SERIOUS help if it does stay at MiA
I liked it. A non enthusiast friend of mine who went to MiA for Kara's 1000th ST lap liked it as well.

Admittedly it's not the biggest/fastest/bestest out there. It is, afterall, a first generation Corkscrew. But this is still a small, family park. And Cedar Fair is going to keep it that way until attendance improves.

If I recall, the Corkscrew at Geauga Lake (now SFWoA) was similar. No loop, just up the hill, down, around into the corkscrews and back into the station.

And if you think the station is bad now, you should have seen it before CF got ahold of it.

It may be a really short ride, but I found it to be a much smother ride than C.P.'s corkscrew.

It was smoother than CP's Corkscrew, but still a "beginer" ride in my opinion. Although the station looked a little gaudy, I kind of liked it because it was different than what I'm used to seeing.

Let's ride the "Sky Ride Sponsored By The Ohio Lottery Odds Are You'll Have Fun" Ride!

This talk of removing Corky is nuts. We want to add coasters, not remove them.

Definetly agree with MrScott! They can't remove rollercoasters cause they stink! Just think of all the little kids who think that the Corkscrew is awesome! The new paint job on the corkscrew is ugly though!
