NEWS FLASH!!!! Track and supports sighted

This just in!

GTTP international men of mystery Dan Haverlock and Jeffery Spartan just called me up from the park with this news. Intamin track has been sighted near Mean Streak. Cranes have also been spotted, probably for the unloading off the trucks. The track is white and the supports are tan. This is all I know right now, so don't ask me about layouts or anything else.

Let the debates (and 700 post threads) rage on!!!

Now some speculation on my behalf. Why do I think that the Soak City parking lot will be a staging area, a la Fall 1999, soon after Labor Day. Is it possible that the tan supports is just a primer color?

This soudns about right. Xcellerator arrived in Long Beach at about this time last year. It was moved to the site after Labor Day if I'm not mistaken.
wow. thats cool. i cant wait! better hope that they dont mess up the forest and greenery.

Yeah, but it really doesn't matter at a park that's opened year-round like Knott's.

Didn't the Millenium Force announcement come soon after track was spotted?

If plans stay as they are, the announcement still won't be for awhile. However, given all of the information out there combined with this sighting shouldn't make it rocket science (pardon the pun). You might just have to keep guessing on specs.

Forgot to mention, Sparty called me and said there's some red track as well now. If you see blue as well, there's a rumor you can put to rest.

White and Tan. Different colors than anything else they've already got. Considering MF and WT track arrived already painted, I can't imagine the new coaster track arrived UNpainted.

Where's all the pictures.
Cool. So its going to be a multi-colored (ex: track is two differnt colors). Now I just need to see some pics of the track/supports.
Big Jon: Well lets see maybe they are taking pictures right now. Or do you think once you take a picture it magically ends up on this site right away.

I'm going to CP again tomorrow and I'm taking my camera for a friends site, I'll try to get some good pictures... (I was just there yesterday and didn't notice anything big except for a guy sitting in the fenced off area when I looked over it. But yet again I wasn't looking too hard).

At any rate, that is awesome!

Nice, I am pretty sure we can expect a CP announcement.......November 1st. Not that it really matters, we basically know what it is. A tera coaster 400+ feet with a very nice Tophat.

By some strange coincidence I'm going to the park tonight to meet Dan anyway for some power riding, so whatever I can see I'll post tonight.
