What CedarPoint is lacking the most....

CedarPoint is lacking..... A FLYING COASTER!! I hate SF:GA to be honest, I hate the rude employees and unfriendly guests, with the confusing pathway and the extremely long lines for EVERYTHING, and how every exit is about a 1/4 mile walk and leads you RIGHT into a store. ALL OF THEM. BUT The only reason I want to go there is because of their new ride, SuperMan: Ultimate Flight. That's all I want to ride. I've always wanted to ride on a flying coaster but they are VERY far away for me to reach. I live in IL about a 2 1/2 hour drive to it. I just really hoped this new ride would have been a flying coaster. I am not dissappointed at all of TTD. It's just that I hope CP makes a decent flying coaster, maybe around the center lake. Anyone else agree with me?

I agree they should take out the corkscrew and put it there.

No way! Corkscrew is an awesome ride! Plus there is never any wait for it so you can ride and ride!

If they took out corkscrew there would be a lot of angry people. And corkscrew is so cool looping over the midway. It really makes CP cool!

Why would lots of people be angry if nobody rides it? And a flying coaster would look much cooler and it would cut down lines for TTD and MF.

I like Corkscrew. But CP does need a flying coaster. I can see it now.... swooping throgh the trees and coming within 3 ft of the lagoon. Hopefully it would be taller, faster, longer, and better than S:UF. And mabey even new inversions like an outside loop. I think it's possible, but imagine that heading head first at the gound without the track in front of you like a pretzel loop.

Corkscrew is a CP ICON. You can't just take it out. It set records and is a Cornerstone in CP history. It's one of the #1 Midways in the world with the corkscrews over the pathway. Don't take it out. There's plenty of room to make an awesome flyer throughout the park, numerous possibilities. People get paid at CP to figure stuff like that out, and their first reaction isn't "Let's get rid of this ride." It's "How can we make this a better park by adding to it, not taking away from it."

I wouldn't mind a flyer but what is #1 on my wish list is a 4D! But, we have a brand new ride to ride now so why worry about 2 years from now?

Etrain...Why 2 years from now? WT and TTD were one year after the next. But I do like your idea about the 4D. That would be awesome, pending they actually do something worth while and eventful. Something fun almost like Honey I Shrunk the Audience (sp?) at Disney. Or maybe a wild trip around the park itself. That could be really entertaining with misshaps and comedy and whatnot.

CrazyCoasterGuy is right it's supposed to be patriotic since it was built in 1976 but I did find the perfect place for it right next to Wildcat by the water making it feel like you will fly into the lake. I hope some ride designer sees this post and this ride will be built!!!!!!!!

Cedar point is lacking some good Dark Rides. I know its not a theme park, but I think they would be wise to invest some money in a Spiderman type ride.

The Frontiertown Midway really needs to be revitalized. Right now there are just so many darn people on the Gemini and Main midways.... Meanstreak and CCMR sit in the rear on their own, and most people don't even like to ride either because they are rough. Putting a flyer somewhere back there would be cool (and having it over the lagoon would be even cooler)

Ask anyone who knows me...the flyer has been on my wish list since I rode X-Flight in 2001.

Cedar Point is lacking a lot of rides because there are so many rides out there. However, what may excite you today might not do the same tomorrow. When S&S Sports Power built TA2K, everyone wanted one at Cedar Point but then Intamin came along with something new and now no one wants it. Just wait a while and something new will come along that will thrill you to death.

Simple: Get rid of Mean Streak, build a flyer.

Don't get rid of Meanstreak. Like I said before theres a perfect spot between MF and Wildcat.

get rid of meanstreak..ARE YOU CRAZY...that is one of the greatest woodies of all time, o and when they build a ride it should be a 4d b/c you could have a flyer and a 4d in the same ride,look at how X goes in on its self and swithches to a flyer(i think, never ridden it before)...just a thought

How about you lean forward on Mean Streak the next time you ride. If you don't let your back touch the hard seat backing you will have a great time. And it you still claims that it hurts you, then you need to request to board any school bus that has a route through some country roads and see how much you like that.

While I don't think its the best (Shivering Timbers anyone?) woodie, Mean Streak will stay unless a bigger wooden coaster is built elsewhere... and do you really see them building another tall and fast wooden coaster somewhere else in the park?
